Have a kitchen remodel and bought this Model #GVS04BQNSS @ HD because of the sale on 6/1 and was delivered on 6/7. Was excited to have first cooler undercounter. My project wasn't ready until last week. The contractor opened found it was damaged lower top rear. It was OK since it's hiding in undercounter. Later I discovered more damages. Door is crooked and frame is dinged. Front door also damaged. Contacted both HD and GE none of them help. They are pointing fingers at each other and now it has passed their window and there is nothing they can do. It's a disaster purchase! GE claimed their delivery warranty covers only 7 days which it was the last day when it arrived. HD said they only have 48hrs window to report the damage but I wasn't home. What a waste almost thousand dollars! Never buying appliances @ HD again!

The wine fridge is the only one that is made for a built-in of the previous models offered by GE in something smaller than 24". The looks are fine, the bottom rack is odd, and it is on the louder side for a wine fridge.

I bought this wine chiller to replace the older model, which lasted 10 years for us before the compressor finally blew out. I find the layout of this new model to be odd. The bottom shelf is especially awkward. No matter how I load the bottom shelf, the back bottle doesn't fit under the shelf above it. The sideways design of that bottom shelf is also annoying-- it means you have to unload the two bottles in the front to get to the bottle in the back. That said, I am glad GE still makes this wine chiller. The previous owners of our house designed our wet bar around a 19" width, and GE is the only company that seems to make a wine cooler in that dimension. I would like to see the bottom shelf design go back to the older model though-- where you could lay four bottles of champagne in a row and then use the rest of the fridge for normal wine bottles. It was easier to see bottle labels in the older design and it also had more capacity.

Broke after a year and a half. Sad. Cooked thousands of dollars of wine. Never ever purchase this product. Zero customer service helped other than to charge hundreds to fix.

I bought this about a month ago, and it is quiet and is working perfectly. It runs 2 or 3 degrees above the set temperature, but if you turn the set temperature down to compensate it keeps a perfect temperature. ALL wine storage units refer to bottle capacity in standard Bordeaux bottles, so don't expect any fridge to hold the mentioned capacity in Burgundy or Champagne bottles. Size up if you have a larger collection from any manufacturer.

This is basically a glorified dormitory fridge. It's not assembled well. There's no pride in its manufacturing. It has a steady stream of condensate down the back wall that I thought was a flaw, but turns out it's actually part of the design, with the water dripping down to a tray that's supposedly heated by the pump and evaporated. Seems like an insane design that'll lead to rust.
My advice: don't buy this fridge.

We have had this wine fridge for less than two years and now it stays at 66 degrees and WE CANNOT GET SERVICE. The app is broken. There is no way to get service. GE has lost credibility in my book. Used to love their products due to excellent service. Could NOT be more disappointed. No wonder their stock is in the toilet.

I purchased a wine refrigerator from GE in October 2017. 13 months later the compressor failed. Since there is a 12 month guarantee only, I thought I was stuck. GE was kind enough to replace it for free. Unfortunately, 19 months later, the second one died.
At our other home, I have had a wine refrigerator for 10 years and it is a no name which is what I am buying to replace the GE.
