I LOVE THIS AC! IT WAS SO EASY TO INSTALL AND SO EASY TO GET IT SYNCED TO THE APP. MY FAVORITE FEATURE IS BEING ABLE TO TURN IT ON WHEN I AM NOT HOME. I CAN ALSO ADJUST THE TEMP AND AIR FLOW WITH THE APP. IT ALSO TELLS ME WHEN THE FILTER IS DIRTY AND NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. I WILL CERTAINLY BE BUYING MORE!!!!

This little machine works efficiently & has taken the edge off of the dog days of NYC™™s summer. If I had a do-over, I™™d opt for a unit with a few more BTUs insuring that the back of my small narrow apartment was consistently as cool as the front portion.

It has been two weeks, but so far this has made a difference in my Arizona room, I am hoping for a better utility bill since that room is being cooled at a normal temperature and as I said it appears to be working well and a good A/C at a fair price.

I have a smaller Frigidaire unit in an upstairs bedroom and was always happy with it's performance, so when I needed a replacement unit for my family room, Frigidaire was my first thought. It installed easily and runs quiet. The WiFi feature was an extra bonus. I look forward to many happy and cool summer days, thank you Frigidaire.

All a round fantastic from price to delivery. The unit works great easy to install and setup. I love the WiFi free app works from anywhere in the. Forget to turn off your unit and your in bed no problem open your Frigidaire app and shut it off.

A little loud, but cools effectively, as long as you pay attention to the recommended square footage. Ask it to cool too big a space, and it won™™t work, but in a room the size the package recommends, it does a great job and has all the features you could ask for. However, even on low, sleeping in the same room as it will be a bit challenging, it is a bit loud.

In June of 2019 I moved into an apartment that had an ancient version of this model air conditioning unit, in really rough shape (cracked vents, filthy filter, moldy spotting all over the plastic from moisture & condensation etc). But, it™™s 8000 BTUs kept 2 adjoining 400 sq. ft. rooms (dining & living) REALLY cold (ie 60°). Ok, noted. I did some research and for the modest sized 350 sq. ft. bedroom, I splurged on the best rated 10,000 BTU unit (cuz I run hot so I like it REALLY cold) I could swing, an LG for @ $460. And it was garbage from day one. 10,000 BTUs in a 350 sq ft space with only one window and the room never got cold not once. Cool yes. But never COLD. Because it was pricey & so highly rated, I stuck with it for much longer than desired - 5 years. Finally in June of 2024 I had enough and decided to replace it. But replace it with what? I did tons of research when I first moved in; settled on a unit with fabulous reviews & more BTUs than the sq footage called for (on purpose to ensure that the space would be COLD), and it ended up being a huge waste of time & money. All I knew for certain was that a poorly-maintained ancient version of this 8000 BTU Frigidaire kept an area twice as expansive with three times as many windows, REALLY cold. So I ordered today™™s version of that exact same 8000 BTU Frigidaire (this item) & crossed my fingers. I™™ve had it now for @ a month and every single time I walk into my bedroom I want to clap & cheer & cry tears of joy cuz it is SO COLD.And I™™ve been running it (high/cool/60°) *constantly* as in, 24/7 since the moment I installed it (sincerely, not exaggerating). In 4+ (summer) weeks, with multiple stretches of 90° days, I™™d say the amount of time it™™s been off here & there adds up to no more than 48 hrs. I never write reviews. I wrote this way-too-long review because this air conditioner is THAT fantastic. I love when it™™s freezing cold and this unit does not disappoint. It™™s absolutely outstanding, and consistently so. It™™s hands down the best performing air conditioning unit I™™ve ever owned in over 4 decades of owning window ac units.

We bought a large Frigidaire Air Conditioner for our Family Room last year and loved it! We purchased a different brand for our Master Bedroom this year and almost immediately regretted it! It didn't work nearly as well! We returned that one and purchased a smaller version of the Family Room one we got last year. Instantly we could feel the difference!! We are loyal Frigidaire customers going forward!!

When it arrived, the accordion frame was cracked on one side, the internal foam was cracked and broken, it's kind of loud when you turn it on, as the fan is probably hitting the foam. I reached out to the company, who said id get a response email about some compensation for the damages in a few days. that was about a week ago and I haven't heard from them. I don't expect to hear back about it, but all I've gotten is emails asking me to review the product. I expected more from Frigidaire, as it a good brand.

This is an addition to my Frigidaire 15000 BTU I bought last year to replace another unit. I absolutely love that one especially bc of the WiFi feature and for the fact it goes as low as 60. I have a Saint Bernard and cold is key. Since I loved that one I decided to replace another one in my kitchen with this 8000 BTU. I did love the previous App better but, the newer one still has everything you need and can understand easily. It is still chilly in New Jersey but, I am ready and I am sure this one will not disappoint. I have now become a Frigidaire loyal customer to Support a great company made here in America. The keep it set on Eco and 60 and the unit does it thing on its own. Controlling both now from my phone will be even better for the long days Myself and Saint aren't home bc of travel and I can now turn both down a couple hours before we get home and it will truly be frigid. I will update more with now having both new units when the heat hits Jersey. You can't go wrong if you are looking for a great window unit for your home.

Our Frigidaire AC is mounted high, and the app works very well. I have used other apps to connect with other manufacturers, and the Frigidaire app is the best one I have used. We can easily turn the AC on and off and adjust the temperature. There has never been a glitch where it doesn't connect, or we have to delete and reinstall the app (like I have had to do with other apps).

This air conditioner is pretty good. It™™s not too loud and cools almost the whole house and it™™s installed upstairs. The quality is pretty top notch. The product came in slightly damaged so I™™m knocking off a star. The name brand is why I even decided to purchase the product. The price is a little steep to be honest. The Wi-Fi feature is awesome. The app you install is good but definitely needs work. I love how I can turn on the AC when I™™m at work at any time and have the room/house cool before I get home. Frigidaire is a top quality brand in my opinion.
