The Frigidaire 8000 Room Air Conditioner arrived this week. It was easy to unpack and easily installed in my Television room (Den) window. It took me approximately 15 minutes to unpack and set up. Since I am not very experienced at installing air conditioners, I thought this was very quick and easy. As soon as I turned it on I could feel the cool air around the room (14 by 14). The family has been very happy with it so far and while you hear it blowing, it is not excessively noisy, We are able to watch/listen to the TV while it is on. Thank you.

my first disappointment was not getting my appliance next day as expected, my second disappointment was the condition of the A/C and I didn't notice the damage until after I installed it, after living without A/C for 2 weeks in the heat we have had, I could not wait another day without adequate a/c, the ac is working great and cooling as expected

We have a small 2-story Camel back shotgun home we use as a getaway home. We use a mini-split system downstairs and have a window unit set in a wall for the upper bedrooms. Upstairs unit died and in searching online, I spotted a Frigidaire unit with supplemental heat. We were just using some plug in heat for the upstairs. I thought this might be a better option to try. Now, for cooling. When the unit arrived and we got it in position, it was a bit smaller than the one it was replacing. Initially, I wondered if it would cool as well. Turns out it is quieter and it actually cooled down the two bedrooms enough that it cycled down to the off position when the temp remained lower than the set temperature. It basically maintained a constant temperature. the other unit just ran constantly. We are very pleased and based on cooling performance. I'm feeling good about how it'll work this winter with the supplemental heat!

Living in Northern Michigan, we need AC maybe 8 nights out of the entire summer. We installed this bad boy with the recent heat wave that came through and haven't looked back! It cooled off our bedroom promptly. We put it on auto and it would quietly turn back on and cool down the room. My husband thought it was "too loud" but I disagreed and think it has just the right AC hum to it. The cord is very long to plug it in and the entire assembly process was quick. This one does not need the bracket outside of the window.

I put this unit in a 8'x10' stand-alone office (a.k.a. she-shed) in SW Florida. We've had some record high temps already this year but the office stays perfectly cool. I'm looking forward to using the heat function when we eventually have our 1 week of winter.

This window unit is just what we needed for the addition off the back of our condo unit. It provides a great amount of cooling in a short amount of time, and runs quietly. This Frigidaire 8000 BTU window room air conditioner is a great unit for my workshop area of my home. It is so easy to install, I was able to do it by myself in about 30 minutes. It fits most windows and puts out great cooling for its size. It™™s also very energy efficient and relatively economical. It™™s also nice to have the extra heat feature in the colder months. This is an awesome AC/Heating Unit. The instructions were fairly easy and installing it wasn't that big of a deal. Everything to install it was included. My wife and I enjoy the easy features and it was really cool that it had a heating aspect to it. It's a seamless operation and works well. I definitely recommend this unit!

I have a bedroom over our garage. Even though we have central air, the room is still always too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. I've used fans/space heaters but they take up too much floor space. This unit is the perfect amalgamation of what I have been looking for all these years--a window unit with heat and air! This was very easy to install and since we're in the midst of a cold snap I could immediately try the heating function. I set it to 72 and the room warmed up in no time! I am so pleased with this unit. I have another Frigidaire AC (in my main room to offset afternoon sun) and so far both have worked to really improve my quality of life and my cooling bills. Now I can add supplemental heat right where I need it! I can't wait to use this for years to come.

We just had this installed as a replacement a/c to a prior Frigidaire unit. So far, so good. Unit heats and cools quickly. We are still exploring the features and so far, we are not disappointed. I especially like the feature to be able to put in an extra filter - helps with allergens - which is especially useful in our area. The shopping, pricing/purchasing, and shipping/delivery were all very easy/user friendly.

I ordered this product for my plant on the 4th. We still have not received it and have no definite answer on where exactly it is.. Is it on a truck headed this way or is it backordered? I have no idea because my unit is MIA. I cannot get a straight answer on where my unit is. Instead, my employees have been without heat because I keep getting wishy washy communication. So, it may be a great product, but if you are in an emergency and need heat or air conditioning quickly, I would go somewhere else.
