We previously had an Amana dishwasher that worked great. Our new one is garbage. Dishes never get fully clean. Food redeposited everywhere. Spots and a thin layer of grime cover everything. Our machine is only one year old. We have tried every type of detergent. I keep the filter clean. Nothing helps. We are loyal Amana customers--2 dishwashers, range, washer. Amana needs to make this right or we will have to take our business elsewhere.

After almost a year of owning this, my dishes have never been 100% clean. Tried with prerinsing and without pre-rinsing. Tried different detergents. Tried different combinations of heated wash and heated dry. It's all trash.
Utensils will feel greasy. There will still be food caked on to cups and bottles. Water spots left everywhere.

This dishwater was already in the house when I purchased it,(brand new) I can't say that I love it because I find that it's hard to keep clean and the hot cycle never dries all the water off of my dishes they always come out wet. I

I didn't have a big budget when I purchased this dishwasher. I had it installed by a plumber. The washer seems to wash okay. It doesn't dry and most dishes are soaked. I tried different detergents and adjusted the jet dry setting. Didn't help. There is also a spoiled stench if you leave dishes in and don't run it right away.
I wonder if it's all the plastic parts? By reading other reviews, I don't think this is a lemon case.
It looks nice but that's about it. I guess I got what I paid for.

I like it very much. It is very good. In a humorous way, I have discovered that when my spouse opens the door while the dishwasher is in its full regular cycle, there is not a way to restart the cycle. It stops and then I need to use the only option open, to cancel and drain, I have no other option I can find in the instruction booklet. So, therefore, I have to restart and run the whole cycle again, which wastes water and soap and rinse liquid. I use vinegar to handwash the glassware and hand rinse and dry. If there is another option to use, please let me know. This can happen to others with children who don't notice the machine is running or older dementia folks just trying to add more dishes as in my case. It is hard enough to be a caregiver and have to watch all the time, tape the door shut (which I tried and he removed the tape when he didn't hear it running.). Please think of a stop/restart button. Thank you.

My daughter bought the dishwasher for me as a Christmas gift. At first it worked fine. Now, have to wipe everything off after washing. Leaves a film on everything. I think the piece that puts in the dish washer rinsing liquid is not working properly. And the dishes are never dry when done.

I hve been using my Amana Dishwasher for avout three momths now, and the first time I used it I fell in love with it!!! THe glasses sparkle, the dishes shine, and the silverware are spotless. I have never had such a great appliance in my home. I want my daughter to buy one, and buy another one for her condo. BEst disjwasher I have ever had!!! It is quiet, too! Our other dishwashers left spots on the glasses and dishes. Now everything is spotless!!! I am so happy with your product!

After installing the machine myself, I had an authorized installation person come out and fix the float valve that must have been slightly put out of alignment in shipping. We ran our first load of dishes and they were cleaner than ever. For the money, it is a very good dishwashing machine. I would recommend buying this machine.

I am extremely happy with the product, the dishwasher is so far working well. I had to tighten a few fittings in the back ( leaking water) a few parts were missing (showfloor model, the last one in stock) but I made it work. The washer itself so far gets the dishes clean. It is a little louder than I like but not horrible. - kinda disappointing how everyone likes to leave out Alaska... and Hawaii.

VERY GOOD PRODUCT, REPLACING PREVIOUS AMANA MODEL WHICH WAS 13 YEARS OLD AND STILL WORKING FINE. UNFORTUNATELY THE INTERIOR BASKETS WORE OUT AND REPLACING THE BASKETS COST ALMOST AS MUCH AS A NEW DISHWASHER.

We have a second home where one of our daughters lives with her family it was that Home that required us to either fix or replace the dishwasher. We did shop around and found this dishwasher on sale, which made our decision easier. It is very quiet and loads easily. It gets the dishes clean and that is a big plus.

This dishwasher is a great product. The price was low and it washes and dries much better than the last one I purchased. That one was less than a year old when I lost it in the flood and at that time it was not drying properly.. Thanks!

The dishwasher washes the dirty dishes great and is so quiet but it really doesn't dry well. I open the dishwasher and pull the shelves out and this helps to air dry, otherwise the clean dishes stay wet until I towel dry.

My wife and I spent many hours looking and researching dishwashers. We spoke to salesman, neighbors, and explored the internet. Our relatives even suggested models to buy. However, after reading the reviews on these different dishwashers we were very confused. Our gas stove needed repair, so we called our neighbor, who owns an appliance repair business. Well, the stove got fixed, and he recommended the Amana dishwasher. We are very pleased with the quiet simplicity of this product. Also it was very easy to install.

We went with the cheapest model and it works fine. The one thing I don't like is that the dishes are still quite wet, even after going through the heated drying cycle. The dishes all get clean though

I bought my Amana because I had a 2 year old stainless steel with all the buttons for everything you could think of. After only 1 year the brains in it failed. To make a long painful story short. I wanted a dishwasher with only what you need to do the dishes. I love my Amana. If you want a product that works and is reliable, then buy this product. I am very happy with my purchase. I learned my lesson. Buy only what is important to do the job. My Amana does.
