First, laundry rose from the cellar. Now, it’s come out of the
closet—quite literally. We are rethinking once-utilitarian washers and
dryers, and there’s no one-size-fits-all for today’s laundry rooms.

A brand-new, luxurious dream home...it's the American dream.
Tracy Shiring likes to joke that her husband, Mark, never should have left the room to put their young girls to bed that one spring evening. But if he hadn't, then perhaps the Shiring's beautiful Victorian-style home in Deep River, CT, wouldn't be what it is today.

When you close your eyes and visualize the perfect house in which to entertain your family and friends, what do you see?
As you enter the gated community in which this dream home resides, you are presented with nature at its finest. Iron lanterns light your path down a winding road. At the fork in the road you have a decision to make: right or left? It doesn't matter, because the road will take you where you need to be, or if you prefer, throughout the Forest Preserve to sightsee.
