A BROADWAY man carried a heavy load across the Malvern Hills in aid of two charities.

George Anstey, of High Street, strapped a washing machine weighing 82.6 kilos to his back and trekked the 12.2 miles in support of Cardiac Risk in the Young and Experiment in International Living.
