Return the panels to the lantern base and they automatically recharge! The Lantern will run for up to 75 hours on a set of 4 D batteries not included the panels will hold their charge away from the base for 1.5 hours. The Duo Lantern is Coleman XPScompatible you can use the interchangeable, rechargeable 6V battery pack, sold separately.
